A Word from the President: Jane Maynard

Dear Friends:Jane Maynard

It is a privilege for me to serve as the CADO President for 2011-2012. I have chosen to serve on the CADO Board because I am committed to the growth and development of clergy.

Before I moved to this Diocese in 2004, I served as Professor of Pastoral Theology and Director of Field Education at CDSP. In this role, I worked with seminarians, helping them to discern their gifts and to prepare for ordination. In many ways, my work with CADO is an extension of this experience.

My hopes for CADO include my desire that we will find new and creative ways to live into our four core commitments: collegiality, wholeness, formation, and advocacy.

Currently, I serve as Rector of Christ Church in Tacoma. My husband, Jim, is a software salesman at Intel and we have three grown children: Marc, Dan and Beckie. I look forward to seeing you around the Diocese and give thanks for your support.

In peace,
Jane

New CADO website

Welcome to the newly redesigned CADO website! Our goal is for this website to become a clearinghouse for information for clergy in the Diocese of Olympia, and a practical way to enhance “collegiality, wholeness, and formation.”

Please browse through this website and let us know how we can improve the information it offers. If you have links or documents that you think should be shared, please let us know.

The webmaster is Bill Fulton, a member of the CADO Board.
